Sony Vaio HDMI out, can also be used as an input?
Hello, I have a Sony Vaio Vgn-FZ21M. It has an HDMI output, I tried to use it as a input to back up my movies and recorded programs from my SKY HD box through HDMI cable, but no luck. There isn't Vaio anywhere in the manual that came can be used as input, but I was wondering if there is a way of bypassing the capacity of the Vaio and use it also as an input to record from hard disk of my Sky HD. graphic - NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU Ahh see Barnes T, I like your thinking. . Im also out of my room Sky HD 250GB, but I will not erase what I have. I guess I'll have to wait like the rest of us for USB and SATA port are enabled. With a bit of expertise that can remove the HD from the Sky Box, paste it into an HD USB caddy and use it to navigate / burn what you recorded. Sky Boxes HD, standard HD uses so you can upgrade the storage relatively cheap. Just do not tell the engineer what you did, if you mess it up!
