How do I connect this laptop to my HDTV?

You say you have "VGA monitor connection. You can get either a VGA cable, VGA to DVI HDMI or VGA. I'm not sure what your TV has. My TV has a VGA port and HDMI, so I just use a VGA cable to connect my comptuer it. My friends TV only has HDMI so it uses a DVI to HDMI converter. In short, you should be able to connect to your TV no problem if your TV has the right connections.
