mother broke in my Sony Vaio Vgn-FS690P laptop and I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. I can fix the Sony?
Sony made a noise and further inspection, motherboard has burned. However, processor, video card, and the hard drive everything better than my Dell Inspiron. Im assuming it is very difficult to do if possible even at all, but I would like to make the best of what I have. Does this mean you just left alone?
Hi There, usually a motherboard can be replaced. But sometimes more than a new computer to buy only a new motherboard. You have to get one that works with the processor your machine has in it. Is the processor continues still good? or is that also fired. I would take it to a computer store to see what is wrong with it, in fact, before I spend all the money trying to fix something that can actually be cheaper in the long run to get a new drive ..
