I have a laptop Sony VIAO and I want to connect to the Internet via Ethernet port.?
I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and I connect to the Internet through the Ethernet port. without full Internet connection. Now I know how to get an Internet connection through a desktop computer and is not the same for a laptop? oh yeah here is how it is connected, laptop-router-modem-isp (aka Bright House) every time I try to connect sometimes ping sites and get an answer, but I can see the page. Ive gone through the properties of Internet connections and Internet browser connection is in progress. firewall is up. I do not know what the problem.
