Sony Vaio External Hard Drive
Sony Vaio External Hard Drive

How do I upload my DVD movie to my external hard drive to see in another country (Canada)?
My hard drive is the Western Digital "My book "Essential Edition 1 TB. I'll be watching videos on my Sony Vaio AR51 17". Is there a hardware problem between the laptop and the unit? Are there any legal issues in relation to copyright theft in Alberta, despite all the movies are purchased and invoices are available?
There is no "hardware problems" ... whatever laptop or external hard drive is used whenever the two are compatible with the same operating system (Windows for example). Thus, if no problems ... Is it legal or not backup your own DVD but it is not clear, however nobody has been prosecuted or fined for conduct Back up your DVDs property ... You bought the DVD! They are yours to do what you want, then, provided it is for your personal observation and enjoyment. FAIR USE Anyways DVDs are protected so you will need a DVD ripping software to copy them so you can put on your hard drive (there are many softwares out there and many are free, just google it)
