Sony Vaio Enter Setup
Help on installing Vista on Sony Vaio?
without any current operating system? I know I've asked questions team a lot, but I'm trying to get much support and understanding as possible. I start and first start-up that says Windows could not start and gives me instructions on what to do next. Basically, it tells me to repair my computer. I Insert the Windows Vista DVD and the setup screen where I have to choose the language enter the product key and it comes out. I think my issue is not device drivers. I also said I have to partition my drive to NTFS? What does this mean? Basically, I can not install View from the CD. The fact change the order of boot priority has nothing to do with this? When First, start it, this is without the Windows Vista DVD. The second time I start it, the DVD is in the laptop.
You need to have the first boot device set to CD ROM in the BIOS. If you put the CD and reboot and get the message "To boot from CD press any key" then the CD-ROM and is the first boot device. When the above message appears, press the spacebar. The hard disk must be formatted in NTFS, which is the required file system. This is normal. After the initial start, when the operating system is loading do not press a key when the message shows up, is only for initial booting. All device drivers needed to install the operating system will installed by the CD.
