Is it really important to defragment your PC registry from time to time? O defrag disk itself is enough?

I am planning a new laptop, but soon, and am a bit confused if I'd take your MacBook Pro or Sony VAIO CW series or series F. And I just want to know whether it is necessary to defragment the registry in personal computers, compared with the Mac that I no longer needed and if that's the case, then the choice of Mac over PC would be my choice for that would make my life more convenient cybernetics. However, there are other things I like about PC as well. When it comes to compatibility and all that I think he wins the Mac versus PC. Please help me with this. Thank you!

You need do nothing in the record either. Maybe it will not nothing at worst will end up reinstalling the operating system. Defraging moves all files that are close to the files belonging to the same program as hard disk. That means that the arm inside the unit has to move less and speed. The Registry is as 1 single file and is quite small compared with any program. So defragmentation will do nothing to accelerate it. The same goes for registry cleaners. Deleting an entry that is never used could save a few bytes of hard disk space, but still can not do anything faster. Registry entries are only used if they are in the startup list of programs and services or click the icon. So those who are not required Litterally do nothing.
