80% connected, not charging?

I have a Sony VAIO CR510, less than 1 month old. Sight. when i click the battery icon that says "80% available (connected, no load). "Why is this and what it means? help please. Thanks.

that is 80 percent of your battery is charged. reason does not reach all the way to 100 is because such batteries are called cells and have a memory. Say you recharge the battery after it arrives 20 percent and goes all the way to 100. then run the battery up to 5 percent before charging. either because they are loaded on a 20 per cent goes to only 80 per percent. and will continue to do that unless you charge more than 20 percent. then one percent charged that on. to address the problem is run the battery down to nothing and then recharge. then either charge the battery after it drops to a certain percentage each time or wait until its fully discharged before it.
