Sony Vaio Cr220e Charger
What happens to my computer the charger / battery?
I have a Sony Vaio Vgn-CR220E laptop, I've had for about 2 years. I realized ago a time that my battery will only last about thirty minutes compared to 2 1 / 2 hours it lasted. Yesterday my battery charger / AC adapter died. This is the second that I had died. I went and bought a universal charger for it. The universal charger worked the first time I plugged in, and slightly extended battery life. The second time I plugged in, the computer will not load, it says it is charging, but the meter stays at 0% and if I unplug my laptop dies. It will not charge the battery, and can operate without the battery connected, what is the problem and how can I fix it?
You need a new battery. The battery life decreases gradually over time and eventually dies. You should be glad yours lasted 2 years. Lots of batteries do not last long today.
