I have a Sony Vaio Laptop. I tried to burn files to a CD and the team told me I needed to install a cd burner?
I clicked on the icon My PC and only shows the C: drive and my wireless data card. I havent had previous problems with the CD before. Ive had this computer for 3 years and have not used regularly. Is it possible for the CD to have taken place already? I also tried playing a DVD and has yet to play. please help!
Even if the drive is not recognizing the disk, the computer should recognize the drive. If not in My Computer, the first thing to do is restart the system. if there is not I would advise you free chat support from Sony before engaging in some major trials and error type of thing. It can be as simple as an adjustment and a driver update.
