Sony Vaio Laptop stolen! Where can I find the serial number?
My laptop was stolen at school the day before yesterday. I presented a report police and they want the serial number of the laptop. I tried to search Google to see where you are and found that the number of series in the bottom of the actual computer on a label, but I have no more, which is not really useful. I have the box wine, as it was a gift. I have all the manuals in a drawer somewhere at home. It is the serial number located somewhere in the user manual? I'm in school, so I can not look now, but I am very anxious to know. Besides, I already know I'm probably not going to get my computer back, I just want to be able to present a comprehensive police report.
Ask who gave it to you if you are on the bill. I doubt it, but worth a try.
