How to boot from external hard drive on a Sony VAIO?

Well I have another operating system on my external hard drive and I want my Sony VAIO (VGN-FW140E) to boot from the drive. I can not find the option to do that! Can som1 please give me key command or something! plz:) THX!

I can not say for sure, every team will not boot off the USB CAN (although theoretically support all these days) Try to keep U down during the boot, this is the most common shortcut key for starting-off-USB. Also, if that fails look around in your bios, often theres an option "USB Boot "and often turned them off. Also, make sure that the partition of your external hard drive is bootable ... Google on this topic. Not all partitions are home to all operating systems.
