Black MacBook or Sony Vaio W / Vista Ultimate?
I am seriously considering buying a MacBook Black, but I've always used a Sony Vaio Laptop. I do not think Microsoft was sincere when he began selling Vista and not rely on how they treat their customers with their marketing is. I want to buy a Sony Vaio, but "upgrade" of Vista seems like buying into a lie, well packed, when they pushed for an operating system that was not over yet. Should I buy a Black MacBook, install XP on it and wait for MS Windows 7 launch in the near future?
Suggest you do what I did (I was in the same point a while ago): get a MacBook, use Boot Camp (comes with OS-X) to create a separate partition for XP ... just have fun. I feel that XP runs faster on my MacBook to my fellow HP Pavilion. Leave a MacBook gives you much more freedom for applications and usage. You can continue using their applications Windows, but you get all this and much easier to use Apple applications as well. Think about iPhoto / Aperture / FinalCut Express. Even MS Office incl. Entourage to have Exchange access is available on the Mac I'm using my MacBook for about a year. The time I spend on Windows is becoming less and less.
