Support HDMI ports in notebooks?
Hello everyone, I am very new to the concept of HDMI, in fact not sure how recently bought a works.I Sony Vaio that has an HDMI port built in. According to the sales staff and stores, HDMI ports are used to connect through cable TV to watch a movie being played on the laptop. So can someone explain how I do that.I have a Sony TV old model and doesn't hv USB ports and technology latest etc.IT has only two inputs, 1 audio and video and 1 dice. So, can you explain how do I connect my laptop with HDMI port to TV? Since its an old model, so I'm sure it will need a converter type of thing that connects one end to the laptop and has 2 cable outlets for television. Please please help me because I want to use this functionality and it.what test all things are needed? I am from Bangalore, India
