2002 Sony Vaio Specs

My FPS in WoW is horrible. I know I must improve, but I'm not computer savvy.?

I have a Sony Vaio. Windows XP Version 2002 Intel Pentium 4 3.20GHz, 1MB L2 cache. 512MB PC-3200 DDR 400MHz Memory 200GB 7200rpm Serial ATA Hard Drive. ATI Radeon X300 128 MB video memory. Probably should offer more RAM (SPEC sheet says expandable to 2 GB). And a new graphics card, but what else should I change if I have a new graphics card? And what are some of the best graphics cards on the market now in the range of $ 200 - $ 400? And they are compatible? Should I get a new motherboard?

Get a GTX285 from Nvidia. This is a fantastic graphics card and is under $ 400. You need at least 2 gigabytes of RAM. From the looks of the computer, you'll want a new motherboard. Get an Intel processor with at least two PCI-E (for the graphics card). You may want to get a new CPU too. I would recommend a Q6600 Intel. It is a little old, but it is a quad-core, and is a big one. I use it now and never had a problem with it. It is also less than $ 200.
